Arsenal to be the new Leeds...?

  4. Well, I certainly believe that things are going to get worse before they get better for Arsenal, that's for sure, Zanjy.

If you're going to shorten it, at least do it right; Zanji

  6. "I know they said this last season but this is a very different season and I just can't see Tottenham finishing anywhere but above Arsenal."

Easy to say when Spurs are 11pts ahead with eight games to go...

    (Soon to be 14pts)

  8. To be fair, Zanji, that's probably why he said it.

  9. What this tells us is that Kane is as good for Spurs as Henry was for Arsenal, after only two and a bit seasons.

How long was Henry at Arsenal?

  10. Lad's, if you are looking for a reason why Arsenal are so bad, it's probably because they have CRAP talent like this lad among their fan-base...

I believe that every Gooner should be forced to watch this, with his eyes peeled open (Clockwork Orange style), in order to better understand how the rest of us see them.

  12. Middlesbrough v Arsenal

    Follow the game, live, here!

Arsenal will be the hot favourites, despite being utter ****e over the last few games. Most pundits would probably go with a comfortable 0-2 win, at least.

God forbid they only manage a draw!

0-0 or 1-0 Arsenal for this one I think.

Imagine if they lose here... <yikes>

It's bad but no worse than this to be fair.

  16. Gunner Stat Hall of Shame

The Gunners haven’t lost five successive top-flight away games since December 26 1984. The only Arsenal players to have appeared in the Premier League this season and be alive when this happened were Petr Cech (2 years, 220 days old) and Santi Cazorla (13 days old).

  17. Arsenal are 14 points behind Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table coming in to this matchday; the first time they've been 14+ points behind them in the league table since May 5th 1963 (also 14).

  18. Arsenal were all over the place against Crystal Palace last time out but Middlesbrough will not cause them anywhere near the same sort of problems.

    Prediction: 0-2

  19. Gunners in relegation form
    Middlesbrough v Arsenal (20:00 BST)
Over each team’s last eight Premier League games, only West Ham (5), Sunderland (4) and Middlesbrough (3) have earned fewer points than Arsenal (7).
