    absolutely true.

    Its very tight if as assumed utd win all their games but we have all bottom half and most of them should be thinking they are safe and have nothing to play for if we are in their faces.

    yes. and if utd do city over then we can get 3rd... added bonus. (big one too)

    It will be an ask with just about no capacity to take another injury but we will see. the mindset of certain players (like mingolet) seems to be that they are down to business and playing for keeps

    West Brom had nothing to play for, but didn't stop Foster coming up for the last 5 minutes desperately trying to equalise like it was a cup final.

    Even if city and united draw then 3rd will be in our own hands (assuming we beat Palace weekend before).

    Its looking good for us, just need to
    make sure we do the business our end though. If united and city can drop some points between them (united city draw, Spurs united draw or Spurs win etc) will give us tiny bit of breathing space. Unfortunately city's run in bar United looks decent

    If anything can have opposite effect towards end of games. They've got nothing to lose so could just go for it like WBA did.

    A good win for United. Bit flukey with both goals (handball then a lampard-esque deflection). For all their control over our attack (we offered nothing), they hardly destroyed us in the game. Bar the first goal and possibly his chance when him and Luiz were grappling, united were restricted to like 3 half chances and basically the contest was a bit of a turgid, scrappy affair with not much goalmouth action.

    It was a shame conte didn't bring Fabregas or willian on sooner as we started to really push them back without really breaking them down. Too little too late

    Well done hughton. Always had a lot of time for him. One of the most consistent sides of the championship and been unlucky not too go up. Let's just hope hughton does not go full defensive mode like he did with norwich
