Twas a good pass, run and decent finish. But as you say the keeping was poor and I thought Luiz should have done more to cut out the pass, or stand in the right position in the first place.
Luiz and Cahill were lost today, all over the show. Luiz went back to his old best with lots of mistakes and running around like a man with his arse on fire.

They were targetted imo. Once chelsea were 0-1 down the old luiz came back out. You are quite correct.

Just seen the City goals against Saints. The first one, Kompany just headed it at Forster and he just palmed it in <laugh>

Anyone still thinking he's a decent keeper?

He is poor on the ground and imo he is very weak low down. Most of his saves are shots in the air.

He is an English Tim krul.... he takes 5mins over a goal kick too.

Wrong time for Chelsea to have a wobble. It's all in their hands obviously and with a kinder run in they should really reach the line first.

But if they do start dropping points - Everton is not going to be easy - then Spurs will capitalise as they are playing really well.

Are we going to witness a Devon Loch scenario?

Spurs have 3 London fixtures up next, followed by Utd, a resurgent Leicester and away to Hull who are seperate for points.

Chelsea's run in is much easier.

I doubt very much that Spurs will do it. However wobbly Chelsea are, the quality of their opposition (or lack of quality) will probably see them over the line..

On the plus side, if Spurs drop points and we win.....it makes second a possibility....just sayin' <whistle>

Shame about united winning yesterday. Would have been good to have opened up a buffer but they still have tough games left.

I'd be more worried about spurs dropping points before utd game personally.

Our whole season depends on two manc fixtures now. Spurs and City.

If spurs are still in the title race that utd v spurs game will be a real top clash, if spurs are 8 points down they will just **** it.

In many ways this is a true test for next season, have spurs the mental attitude to say they are ready to take the next step

If you blow top 4 with the fixtures you've got left, you don't deserve it anyway

Yes totally unexpected. Mourinho outfoxed his counterpart and the mancs dominated and gave Chelsea a really demoralising defeat.

Make no mistake. This is still a 4 horse race for 3rd and 4th.

We are favourites because we don't have to play each other like the other three. Our run in is also better but we can't afford to be complacent. Mathematically if we get 79 points (4 wins and a draw) no one can stop us getting top 4. But realistically we would need much less than that. I think 73 will do it - 2 wins and 1 draw in the last 5 matches.

The bookies are right in making us overwhelming favourites to make it.

Bang on. We've got the 'kindest' run in as we've had our most difficult games already.

To be where we are is a credit to us but we have to get the job done now and not choke

    This.

The only way we won't make top 4 is for the Mancs to win ALL their remaining matches. I just can't see this happening against City, Arsenal and Spurs all away.

Yup and similarly, if united get top 4 from the fixtures they have left then they will have deserved it. Before yesterday had to play 4 of top 6 so it's always been in their hands and if they beat all those around them then fair enough.

Great thing for us is that with Arsenal losing last week top 4 is in or own hands. Win last 5 and we will be at least 4th no matter what rest do
