So for this to be the race it has the potential to be, we need a bit of luck with the start.

    Possibles:

Bottas leading into turn one with a Ferrari splitting the Mercs.

Hamilton leading into turn one, Vettel 2nd

    Vettel leading into turn one.

I think the key is to not let Merc dictate with a 1-2 roadblock, and if Hamilton leads then Vettel following him would be the most fireworks.

Red Bull could be either a surprise or a pain in the arse- let's hope it's the former.

I don't think Ferrari will be lightening off the starts as they usually are, will be a Merc road block. Toto will ensure Ham doesn't get too overexcited into turn 1. Watch out for the red bulls though could leapfrog.

I think the worst case scenario is a Ferrari leading after lap 1. I think they're going to own it on race pace.

I just hope we don't get Bottas playing a road block for Lewis.

From what I read during pre season testing they are in an area that the FIA messed up on. When they resized the 'boxes' for the rear wings and sidepods etc they miscalculated and left a small area that was not specified as an exclusion zone. So some teams realised they could create mini wings to add a little downforce and direct the airflow towards the rear wing making that more efficient.

Horner has said he doesn't like them but I think their cars design wouldn't benefit from it so he is doing his normal whinging.

I am sort of surprised they haven't been banned yet. Then again they are within the rules so as long as the Mercs T wing stops falling off I think they will stay for 2017.

On the issue of Red Bull. The C4 coverage yesterday said that they use a matt paint finish as it is beneficial to boundary layer flow plus the gloss lacquer weighs 600gms! So they save weight. Guess that's why Renault do the matt thing as well?

More Red Bull info. Horner has confirmed that the reason the Red Bull is such a simple design is they had major issues with the correlation of CFD, Wind Tunnel and on Track data. They believe they have resolved the issues and a 'new car' will be ready for the Spanish GP!
I have nothing against Red Bull just they seem to be in news.

So hopefully they will soon be a match for Merc and Ferrari.

I think This will be a two stop race, the team that commits first will win this.

Can someone end Raikonnens contract now please?

Absolutely conning a living, half asleep uninterested prick. Used to love him but frankly his attitude and performance both stink.

Can see an incident here with Vettel/Ham/Bot

Bottas in front could cause a queue!

Imagine Marchionne will have him sacked mid-season.
