Can't we just agree that he's a ****, and that he knowingly set out to get a reaction, because without reaction, he's nothing?

So you thought he may have actually discussed the matter with another poster on here?

    Kelvin quotes
[on Hillsborough] All I did wrong there was tell the truth. There was a surge of Liverpool fans who had been drinking and that is what caused the disaster. The only thing different we did was put it under the headline "The Truth". I went on The World at One the next day and apologized. I only did that because Rupert Murdoch told me to. I wasn't sorry then and I'm not sorry now because we told the truth.

I think it comes down to judging character. He's a snide, conniving, backstabbing, racist, odious ****ing wretch. Thats my judgement. Yours maybe different or you may like to argue for the sake of it.
    Hey ho.

I'm not sure it was click bait, but then I'd be making some wild assumptions about MacKenzie's true motives. Something I now only do in private.

If he had used racist language the Sun wouldn't have published it, something he knew. He may also have been prosecuted for an offence of racial harassment. Something he also would have been aware of. So only an idiot would have submitted something for publication that was overtly racist. Something MacKenzie isn't.

You make the critical judgement that it wasn't racist, whilst I don't.

So it was a strange question as you already knew the answer?

    Where?

I don't believe it isn't racist. Something totally different.

    You keep making assumptions.

I neither make a critical judgement for or against it being racist as I have said I don't believe the article had any racist comment. He didnt make a sexist comment, because he didn't write one of those either.

Judgemental? Yeah, probably, based on my own listening experiences over the years. As you know, I'm not a lover of what is commonly termed 'black music', although there are some exceptions :emoticon-0142-happy

However, being judgemental is a different thing to being prejudiced ("preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.")

No Dutch, I haven't. I was already pretty certain that Nigeria's ethnic mix was overwhelmingly black African, and a bit of quick research confirmed this (three main groups alone make up around 70% of the population: Hausa-Fulani, Igbo and Yoruba. This figure doesn't even include the many other sub-Saharan groups which make up the population.

    http://www.worldatlas.com/articles/largest-ethnic-groups-in-nigeria.html

So it's neither an 'opinion' nor formed 'without knowledge'.

The FACT is, most Nigerians are black, which is in no way an example of prejudice.

Why do debates about subjects always develop into debates about posters?
If you haven't got the intellect to debate the points of the discussion without having a go at another poster then leave it to adults who can.

    I haven't made any assumptions.

Difficult to see how you can say an article, without any racist comment, may be racist.

Have you seen the pictures and the headline that went with his words?
