lets just say the standard of officials in league 1 was very poor. the standard in league 2 is worse. harrold was worthy of man of match. he did very well today considering their 2 defenders were trying to get in his shirt everytime the ball went to him. 1st goal from them was was not offside just very poor defending trying to play off side and 2nd goal was a penalty all day long. stupid back pass to the keeper anyway and keeper was stupid to bring down the player when he knew he wouldnt get the ball! 2 silly mistakes has cost us. although the ref was shocking and we had several penalty shouts turned down, we would of won if we had not made the silly mistakes leading to both goals. i still saw enough in todays game that we can definately get promoted. we will get very bad decision from the officials all season like we did today but we can still win games with these piss poor decisions as long as we just cut out the silly errors, which we can do once the team gets use to each other, and that we take our chances as we had enough today! bring on gary johnson for the backlash of todays result

i disagree with chris to be honest. harrold won man of the match today. he was the only 1 of the attackers fighting for the ball. he won his fair of tackles, he showed good ball control and won so many headers and flick ons but he didnt get the support he needed from the officials. so many times he was pushed and shuved and shirt pulled off his back and the ref either gave the free kick to them or gave nothing. harrold is here to score goals and make goals. he has scored 1 in 2 and he has been the best target man we have had since ricky lambert. no complaints so far from me. obviously the shrews are struggling without him
Some "gasheads" have been bleating how great they have suddenly become,now they are aware how weak they really are,now they have been found out,they are just an average side,let's hope the few of the blue phew will now calm down and stop bigging it up and allow their manager to try and work his magic......

no team wins the league by winning every game. even man utd. so we lost a game. i mentioned to you and others on here that the 1st few games will be tough for obvious reasons. i still think though after the 2 games i have seen so far, we will go up. simples. in our league, we are not just an average side. im looking forward to tomorrows result. i hope you all pop back on here
i am delighted to hear matty h was the best of a bad bunch, as i have said before he is more of a goal creator than a scorer. vale and gills are looking strong at the top and hereford and crewe may have a worrying season as well as barnet at this early stage
2 mistakes not a bad bunch i have a feeling plymouth will struggle and could end up being relegation contenders.
