who said I believe what he says? There is enough racism around without jumping up and down over this. Think your just looking for an argument.

Its genuinely sad the people who have said "that's not racism". They clearly don't know what a despicable, fully knowing what he's doing **** MacKenzie is.

    Or they're also racists.

Or you are the one being taken in by him and his deliberate attempt to trigger such a response.
Are those words provocative ****e? Yes. Are they insulting and hurtful? Yes.
    Are they racist? No.
Can you read something racist into them? Yes, if you ignore the words and use your imagination.
Would that make you a racist? No? Would not doing so make you a racist? No.

Or Kelvin MacKenzie is racist and deliberately chose the words to create offense but avoid prosecution? After all being a former newspaper editor he knows the law over what can and cannot be published.

I find it quite amusing that people will have a pop at others for being offended by the views & opinions of a loathsome racist & hate filled **** of a human being. Accusing those "offended"of not accepting freedom of speech, being intolerant snowflakes who are filled with hatred.

Yet any mention of the word "mong" is enough to send Ine of them into post reporting offended meltdown.

Obviously they'll find time in their double standard lifestyle to regularly take the piss out of an ex-England Manager's speech impediment.

    Fake snowflake ****

Without knowing the motivation behind them, you can't categorically say they were not racist words.

I'm always fascinated to understand why some people react really strongly to suggestions that something might have been deemed racist. Personally, I suspect that when someone is up in arms about stuff like that - such as twats like Sharon The Fairyman, who really was at home on the CI forum - it's because, deep down inside, they actually are a bit ****ing racist.

Absolutely; nor can you say they are racist. What they are is insulting.

Perhaps more importantly, Ross Barkley's family would have been within their rights to find them racially insulting.

I just find it bizarre that some people appear to be more offended by suggestions that Kelvin MacKenzie is a racist ****er, than by the comments he made. Why is that, do you think?

Is that a question or an assumption? There is certainly not enough, in what he has written, for me to judge him as racist. The irony is that there is plenty written about MacKenzie, and his article, that makes his imagined racism petty in comparison. Personally I believe that he is a loathsome individual, but I prefer to judge him on what he says, not what others imagine he says.

If your grandfather was Nigerian and someone called you a gorilla, don't you think you might feel they were being a bit of a racist ****er?

Is anyone 'more offended by suggestions that Kelvin MacKenzie is a racist ****er, than by the comments he made.'

I just find it sad that racism is manipulated into his text when it doesn't exist. Do people want his words to be racist; why is that?
