Just gave my boys a Roma 3rd kit and a Match Attax tin and my daughter had a poppy troll and trolls CD.

Nah. I had Easter eggs as a kid. Nobody brainwashed me. It was just a kid's thing and nobody did any brainwashing. I was never forced to go to church either.

Easter is a Pagan festival anyway, the Christians just supplanted their own celebration over the top of it, in their purge of all things Pagan. The resurrection story is a pagan celebration of the the Spring Equinox and the longer days returning, i.e. new life returning to the natural world. The Easter bunny based on the Pagan festival of Eostre (Easter) a pagan Goddess who was symbolised by a Hare.

Btw Humpty Dumpty died on a wall for us. And now he's not mentioned on any egg hunt anywhere. It's a fcking disgrace I tell ye!

Off to do the campsite egg hunt now.

Then a pot of coffee and a read of the paper. Then into Moreton for a Sunday bit of grub of some sort. This will include a couple of ales.

No idea if I'll catch our inevitable draw later, probably not.
