Only a matter of time before one of the upcoming Chinese win it. Then the floodgates will open!

It's a possibility. I think Murphy has a potential banana skin vs Yan Bingtao In his opener but the longer format may well be his friend. Wenbo is always a great watch and if he can improve his safety and discipline has got the game to go far. With Ding and Guodong also in there they are well represented. Ding no doubt the flag bearer but he's been touted as a definite winner of it for a while now without winning it, albeit a very difficult tournament to win.

Can see a World's being held in China in future. Maybe not in our lifetime but it's a must to go that route.

Nice one footy bet landed!Sorry STH had it in my head he won it but got mixed up with Stuart Bingham.Still going to stick with him-Played very well in the masters and threw the semi final away to Joe Perry.Selby has a great chance as well but 7/2 is to short.Very suprised to see Judd Trump the same price, your nerves will be shot if you back this lad!!!

Easily done Ste my man <ok> Hawkins has reached a World final previously but bumped into a certain R.O'Sullivan and went down 18-12. I think he's overcome his stigma of losing to him and he's pretty assured vs any opponent now. In fact, I'd be confident they view Hawkins as a possible winner of any tourney when on form. He had a horrible tag of letting big leads slip but again has possibly broken the mental stigma of that this season. Hope he goes deep for ya.

Watching Fergie O'Brien getting whooped by Selby now! O'Brien played the longest frame recorded to get here (1hr 59m) but has went out with a relative whimper. Suppose he gained a few extra pound for making it.

Okay, apologies to those that lost their money on Orithia along with me.

My gaffer seems to have a knack of joining syndicates that own donkeys. His NH nag was last of eight at Fontwell in the week - but it was 80/1.
