No idea what your issue is with Silva, but without him we'd be down already and he's far too good a manager for us to have any chance of us hanging on to him.
A city thread without an easy scapegoat. If only Meyler had played or better Elmo. Then everything could have been blamed on one of them. Silva shoulda set up for a point. Away from home get a point. Simple as.
Would liked to have seen Silva work with the whole squad after Bruce left. Today was a perfect example of what he has instilled in th team football wise, and a glaring example of why some of our new players were released in the first place. The biggest thing City are missing at the moment is consistency, something that most team suffer from but few experience with a squad like we had back in August. When the fans see Stoke's goals today many will be left thinking how unlucky we are to concede strikes like that yet again, but that's the Premier league for you. Bottom line is simple,if you want to succeed or survive at any level the goals either start going in,or you keep a clean sheet at the other end, failure to do either and your always going to lose more than you win. Bruce did it the other way round, making us hard to beat,Silva believes in pure football, but that needs time, and it's time is what we don't have right now.
Opportunity cocked, but we're two difficult away games down and we're still outside of the relegation zone. Next week we need Stoke to ****ing want it and we need to win. If this happens (and given it's rarely simple at City) we'll have a 4 or 5 pt lead, going into the last four. Get out your mats and pray for the best.
We are staying up I think. Junior asked if we can go to palace away coming out the ground today. Pleased she has become HULL CITY MAD and takes it in her stride when we lose. Stoke fans dont even sing when they are winning
I just don't get the doom and gloom. We are in a much better place than a few weeks ago. We have one hell of a chance to stay up. Stoke where beatable today. The third goal was just hats off to that, great goal. Shaqiri is always a pain in our side.
I thought Harry was playing right side of a back 3, not right back, he has no chance if the player playing right side of midfield can't be arsed to track back and do some defensive work.
If we can all just imagine its Elmo doing the defending on these pics we'll be fine we can all call him to **** and put it all on him. Agreed? Thats a ****e challenge on Shaq by Robbo. 3 CB's all over the place, or 2 and a RB, on Arnautovics goal. and Ranoccia nowhere with Crouch. Disappointing Honestly thought at 1-1 we would get a point (not necessarily by holding at that score though. I thought we'd score again and then give up an equaliser) Could have been worse with Swansea losing, but it's not pleasant simply hoping someone else gets the same or worse results than us Onwards Not the end of the world
