Can we expect any different? Stoke now on the beach, away, out of form and not playing well. Swans at home fighting for their lives. 3 very winnable games left for Swansea vs our 2. We have to beat Spurs, Saints or Palace, as well as winning our two home games against Watford and Sunderland. I can't see us staying up in all honesty.
Thank the lord Swansea lost, but that was a big chance to gain a march on them which we might regret.
I can't see us beating both Watford and Sunderland, think it' will be 4 points and it's free money betting on our opposition away..
The thing is it is in our hands. We are not in the position where others have to slip up. Although it would be nice. Onwards and upwards, still out of the bottom three.
Actually helped Swansea with goal difference. Tactics a bit off today for me. Defence gave too much space at start, like in wide positions. That needed sorting quicker than half time. Things worked briefly when we at one point pushed players into the opposition box, but then we went more defensive again giving the initiative back. We rarely play the precise final cross/pass, so we need more than just one player or so in the box when mounting a serious attack. Then just chasing the game at the end, but that was because of what went before. Need to get away tactics sorted, we could have got something from this.
I don't see how it was given our appalling away record? Yes we missed chances, but we just cannot do it away from home and like I suggested earlier,at this level you either take your chances or face the consequences because for all the media hype,Stoke City are no mugs and have just shown us why.
Boro are 6 pts behind and with arsenal at home that's a certain win for them against the spineless pathetic arsenal
Maybe. To me we looked like the more likely winners before Crouch scored all on here where buzzing too. We played some OK stuff after that slow start.
When we scored it was like we were just ready to soak up their play for a while rather than keep the pressure on. When we broke we kept players back unlike prior to the goal. And when they scored it was just desperation time as time was running out by then.
