Have you noticed on the Ferrari and Red Bull how much the front wing elements flex on the straights? They have a great cameras looking at the front wing elements and you can clearly see the flex back when accelerating and then forwards again on deceleration. I don't think there is anything saying the elements must pass a deflection test? So all looks legal to me?
I'll watch the recording later, but don't mind know who's out/progresses etc... Trying to see if 5 live extra has it.
Stunner from Hulk and that Renault doesn't look so bad anymore. Maybe thats where Alonso will end up next year.
Lol. They've always been open to Alonso in the past. I reckon they will take him in again. I think Renault are actually back.
Like he did at Ferrari and McHonda To be honest I do admire what he can extract from a car, just amazing. To me part of Alonso to Indi500 is all about getting him to sign for 2018. Keep him as sweet as possible and throw loads of cash at him and he might just stay. I truly hope Honda can give him a decent PU as the chassis seems OK, difficult to tell as they dont have same power level so any traction issues wont show up yet.
I don't think they're back yet. However this is what a works team digging themselves out of a difficult situation looks like, Honda.
