This is why I don't think we're going to be beaten any time yet. This winning momentum is strong and after 1-3,4-0 and 4-0 I can't see us losing to Palace or Arsenal.
I want to see us well and truly smash Arsenal, a, because it's arsenal and b, to show everyone that last seasons finish is just a horrible distant memory and that we are made of stronger stuff now
I do too. Last season we gradually faded towards the end but with this sequence of strong wins at this stage of the season showing no signs of abating then the signs are good that we won't fade. Ok Spur of the Moment, fair point.
Paddy Power TV strikes again. My second time watching a 2nd half in one of their places, and the second time we win 4-0. Conclusive proof IMHO that my "method" >> anything rcl does.
I assume Sissoko is saving his first goal this season for when it has maximum WUM value (winner against Chelsky/Goons, to relegate the Spanners etc) .
Good result today. My only critique for the past two games is somehow the shooting has been less accurate once the 4-0 point was reached, and that Son perhaps just needs to have that split-second extra composure in his shooting (and score even more) .
It's been a good day for us in other ways too what with our future opponents hardly shining. Palace v Leicester would normally attract nothing but fairly dismal mediocre interest but because the latter are champions and Palace's results v Chelsea and Arsenal were good then extra spice was added to it. Palace beat Chelsea then lose to Southampton, beat Arsenal then draw with Leicester, inconsistent to say the least but I don't see us losing or at West Ham who only drew today.
My daughter was a complete Jonah in that we lost her first 3 games. Still, we lost my first game too in a game that Peter Cook reviewed on Grandstand as the worst game of football ever.
I know I am a miserable git who desperately needs some happy optimism pills but I think you must have ****ing ODed on them
Yep...am lucky enough to be going with my youngest daughter...our happiness depends on you doing this
Hope springs eternal. Dunno if tis just me, but does Sissoko have a lumbering slow acceleration ?? Last two games, and there is no speed in the press whatsoever from him. Does he need to start his chase from the Spurs box so that he has attained Bale/Lennon speeds by the time he reaches the opponent in their half ??
Nope. He needs to start the run from the dugout, head down the tunnel, into Tottenham High Road and keep on running!!
Just **** imho He doesn't seem to apply himself. Soldado was a flop but we loved him cos he always gave it his all. Janssen does the same but the same is not true os Sissoko. He has not done himself any favours with previous press interviews and his silly statements have heaped pressure on himself.
