Just been to Flood 2, the play on floating pontoons in Vicky Dock
    Brilliant.
    Headphones worked well too. I'm
Slightly deaf so I think they should give you them at all theatre stuff!

Cant agree about Dundee Stan. He's one of the most irritating ****ers ever. I had to tell him to give me my ****ing fish last time i went in, just goes on and on and on talking ****e.

And another thing. Those setts down Humber St are shocking, they're too high. You can hardly walk on them.

And another thing the shops down Spring Bank werent empty. Always been busy.

****ing hell, I had an absolutely mental night out with Sean, the very first time I met him. Went out to get a pint of milk from (the then) Jackson's on Prinny Ave, and ended up ****faced in a Sheffield hotel room with him and two female Israeli film-makers. The man's a beast :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Having a drink with you and ending up **** faced and waking up in unexpected places seems to be a regular occurrence. <laugh>

I'd been getting involved in a bit of film work at the time, and had some mates who already knew him, and they'd been telling me what a good bloke he was, and how he'd done really well for himself as a documentary film-maker, and that I should meet him next time he was in Hull. I'd popped out to go for the milk and got a text off one of them, saying 'We're in Pave with Sean now - are you coming?' or words to that effect. So I went along, we were all having a great laugh, and then Sean announced he had to get a train to Sheffield because he was doing a seminar/interview/speech thingy on stage at Sheffield Doc/Fest (the Sheffield International Documentary Festival) the next day. He was on one by now and just said to us 'Why don't you come? It'll be a great laugh, and you can all kip in my hotel room'. It was a midweek night and everyone was at work the next day, so couldn't do it, but I wasn't, so I thought '**** it', and went along. It was a mental night. I woke up next to the ****er in bed! I looked across at him, and grinning, he just said "Good morning. I'm internationally-acclaimed documentary film-maker, Sean McAllister. Pleased to meet you" :cheesy:

I tagged along with him at the event the next day, and he kept introducing me to all these film people as one of his 'Advisers'. I prayed nobody would start talking shop and expose me as a fraud, and none more so than when one of those people was none other than Nick Broomfield! Thankfully, he showed no interest in talking to me!
