I've often wondered how a PL board meet up would go... I reckon some who get along on here wouldn't like each as other as much in real life and vice versa.

I know there's a couple on the Saints board who I've got on with like a house on fire when I've met them, but fall out with on here written text can be deceiving...

In real life I get on with pretty much everybody I meet and I'm really affable. I haven't got time for petty spats and drama, so people who like to wallow in that sort of ****e, I generally don't become friends with in the first place.

Yes cuz, especially on here. The default for this place is a bit of needle, that just goes with the territory of football rivalry. I don't think anybody on here really genuinely hates anybody else and if they do, then they need to have a word with themselves. I think some people allow themselves to get wound up far too easily (NSIS) and then start sounding off, but all that really does is encourage people to poke them a bit more. A87 was a classic case too.

 

I think you'll find that you started that one...

I'm the same as you mate, and will get on with anyone n give them a chance until they do me a wrong'un. Easy going as **** generally.

I'm not one to hold back feelings though, if I think something then I'll come out and say it, not beat around the bush. Can upset people at times but if they're sound then they'll realise it's just the way I am.

Trust is a different matter though, I don't trust anyone at all when I first meet them, learnt too much over the years. Trust can take years to build but seconds to break...
