I find it strange you can be ill but fit enough for the bench Been watching Greens kicks, I don't think we have won possession from any of them.
I accept if you are returning from injury a place on the bench as you might not be match fit but that aside, why include someone on the bench who is ill?
Might just be good man management. Wanted to leave him out as a rookie against the (allegedly) best team in the league but doesn't want to undermine him to the fans, so he was 'ill' but should get through some of the game if needed.
