Nothing you say is going to convince us that you are not just an Anti-Leicester bitter who is so butthurt at them winning the league that you are trying to downplay any and all achievements the club makes just to make yourself feel better at the fact that Leicester have won a Premier League title and Spurs ****ed it up,

    I'm sure there are others who think some of those things but why is it that it bothers you so much that you have to start an antagonist thread about it and put smug updates every time we don't win and justify why we we lucky to win every time we win?

  4. Okay, I need to break this down...

    That's exactly what I said!

    I was right, yet again!

    So quickly you forget the praise that I have heaped on Leicester, and choose to remember the bits that suit your wummery!

    Woah! Stop there.

    I would rather they had won the league than any team but Spurs. I have said that time and time again.

    But that fact - and it is a fact that I wrote that praise - does not make last season any less of a fluke.

    Even if you do not accept that last season was a fluke, you cannot say that my argument (that it was a fluke) lacks all credibility to make it unworthy of discussion. I'm not just talking about Leicester taking advantage (which they did superbly - there, more praise!), I'm talking about the collapse of so many sides all in the same season.

    All of these things are worthy of discussion on a forum that purports to be about football. To suggest that I am anti-Leicester is utterly ridiculous!

    No, Bodi. I cannot accept that.

    Yes, Spurs ****ed up in Europe, but that clearly wasn't Leicester's fault.

    I have no bitterness towards any team. I merely call things as I see them; and just because I haven't played along with all of this "Leicester City faery-tale" bollocks does not make me bitter.

    Can we all get a little bit of perspective on this!

There is no "fairy tale bollocks", you haven't heaped praise on Leicester and when you have praised them its usually as part of some bitter, veiled insult.
    Like "If they had played football last night, they would have got a dry humping, but they defended for their lives and managed to keep it at 1-0".

    "If they had played football......."

    See when you say "I fear they will get hammered 3-0....."
    We see it for what you are actually saying which is "I hope they get hammered 3-0".
    Putting this pathetic little childish caveats in there like "I didnt want them to lose, I just feared they would"........
    You are the only one in a fairy tale mate, if you think anyone has fallen for your absolute bullshit.

  6. There is no tone in words on a screen, Johnny.

    The thread is perceived to be "antagonistic" to you because you don't like the things I write.

    You perceive my "updates" as "smug" because you don't like the things I write.

    You are using the language of censorship.

    Why is that though?
    If you are "heaping on praise on Leicester" then why would he not like the things you write?

    Basically what you said in your last post. The whole fake hoping we don't lose etc etc is more annoying that if he just said it.

    I'm as fairer person as anyone, I know I didn't see eye to eye with you at all over Ranieri but respect your opinion and I don't think there's ever been anything else I don't agree on. It's called respect between other supporters and clubs and if you gain that respect, if you do disagree with someone or think they've posted something negative, you know it's genuine and respect it. That's how I see it

  9. There certainly is, Bodi.

    Okay, perhaps "heaped" is the wrong word to use. But to suggest that I have never praised Leicester is out of order, mate.

    Hang on! A minute ago you said that I did praise them!

    Ah, there's no need for that, mate.

    Shoot the messenger, eh... No, I tell you what, he's a machine-gun - riddle me with bullets!

    <laugh>
    When you read it back to me, it cracks me up, mate!

    I'm taking a skewed slant on things, Bods, that's all, mate. It certainly isn't bitter!

    Is it insulting... really? I don't think so. A gentle bit of ribbing, perhaps, but nothing malicious.

    <laugh>
    Again, when you read it back to me, it does make me giggle!

    But let me say it again - at best, it's a bit of gentle rib-tickling; nothing malicious. How can anyone get upset by that?

    The fact is that I did fear they would get hammered; and the fact is that I do believe that if they had not clung on, limpet-like, to the side of the bus that they parked in their half, they would have got hammered.

    Do you want me to lie?

    <laugh>
    Stop! FFS! I'll break a ****ing rib, here, Bods!

    Okay. I'll admit that that was a little dig too far. I'll take that one back.

    But - and I can only keep repeating this - there was nothing malicious in what I wrote.

    We all like to believe in fairy tales, mate. I am a Spurs fan, when all is said and done.

    When in doubt , go to your assistant ... if there is still doubt , you can't call a penalty regardless of who's in the way . The pitch belongs to the players , it's the refs job to stay out of the way but see everything , be it with help from his assistants . The greatest ref is never noticed in a game .
