He called it wrong - just, but in fairness the Ndidi one wasn't given, so it evened out.

These things happen, not point harping on about it.
Its not a bad result to take back to the home leg.
Leicester will just have to perform better at home.

  3. Hey, don't shoot the messenger, friend!

I'm only calling it as it's being called by the pros. I was listening to Mickey Quinn talking about it, this morning, on TalkSport. I'm not trying to wind anyone up, here.

I can't really recall that one, I saw it but think I was at the bar. He seems to dangle his leg in but probably would still have been soft. As I say, overall I don't have complaints over the score line. I think 1-0 was fair, they didn't deserve more based on how little chances they created for their possession dominance

Didn't see the match, just heard some of it and have now watched the highlights.

That Griezmann foul you can see why the ref gave it in real time. It wasn't as bad as a call that everyone is making out of it.

I only read the live commentary but wasn't there a penalty shout when Ndidi took someout out soon after their first pen?

I saw Mahrez dive, that was pretty dirty XD.

1-0 isn't a bad score and surprised madrid didn't go for another. Athletico been a bit dodgy away from home this year but in the CL and in the big games, these boys know how to raise it. They are tenacious and dirty enough to play the physical game and unlike seville, they aren't soft and are pretty similar to what chelsea are like. Solid, structured with a strong counter attack so i just don't see any hope for leicester.

  7. That was a point that Alan Brazil made, when he was discussing this with Mickey Quinn, on TalkSport's Breakfast Show, this morning.

You won't hear Buzzy, Johnny, and Fosse bleating about that, though, will you!

I think we all need a little bit of perspective, here, lads.

  8. "Listen" is probably too strong a word. It's on in the car, let's leave it at that.

I just said, it was probably fair overall but I didn't see that one as clearly as I did the Griezman one. If it was a foul, it evens out and was a fair result as I stated right after the match. Still disappointed how crap AM we're though with the reputation they have

  10. Had you played football, I think there is no doubting the fact that you would have been dry-humped. As it was, you did the only sensible thing you could do, which was defend for your lives and park the bus, which you did very well.

You love trying to find a loophole don't you? Did you or did you not predict a dry humping for us in Madrid?

  12. I'm being objective, Johnny, and you are being extremely juvenile in throwing a tantrum simply because you don't like to hear the cold, hard facts. Just keep listening to the hollow and patronising plaudits from the fans of clubs to whom LCFC is nothing more than an itching on one cheek of the arse of their club, as that obviously gives you some comfort.

Look at what actually happened, last night. LCFC didn't have one shot on goal, defended for their lives, committed a ton of fouls, and now have one of their most influential players (Huth) missing for the return match.

Sure, Atletico didn't bang in a ton of goals, but you were dry-humped, nonetheless!

But you keep listening to those who are telling you that everything is hunky-dory, and you keep believing that they are your friends, Johnny.

Often in life, the person whom you perceive to be your enemy is actually the person who is going to help you along your spiritual journey.

Well that was boring. Let's look at these facts

You predicted we'd embarrass England in the CL. We won the group.

You said we'd get dry humped by Sevilla. We won through

You claimed your prediction stil stands as if we get a beating anywhere along the line you'd be right even if this was in the final!

After I asked you you said a dry humping would be about 3-0 on aggregate (which over two legs I wouldn't say that's true anyway).

We lose 1-0 away at one of the toughest places in Europe and you now, running scared that we might not even lose by that on aggregate, turn your attention to performances claiming you even if we only last 1-0 on aggregate you are still right as they had more possession that us and that constitutes a dry humping. Do you class 3 shots on target none of which caused Schmeichel any problems a dry humping? <laugh>

    Indeed.
    Is there any doubt now?
Any doubt whatsoever, that this guy has mental problems?
That this thread and his whole Leicester obsession stems from bitterness over a season of football in which Leicester "jumped the queue" and won the Premier league when Spurs were on the cusp of something good but were ultimately denied because they pulled a bottle job and completely ****ed it up, finishing 3rd in a two horse race?
The fact that he can't just say, "Well done Leicester I was wrong" and just completely changes the goal posts every time Leicester do not fall prey to his pathetic predictions speaks volumes as to the sort of ****ing idiot we are dealing with here.......he is best ignored.
The guy thrives on childish negative attention seeking, he has made this board all about him and his infantile behaviour.

  15. I'm not sure what you are bleating about, Johnny!

You set yourselves up, last night, to defend for your lives, and you did just that. I have given you credit for that.

However, you now have two choices in the return leg: (1) continue to defend for your lives and set for a fairly respectable 1-0 defeat on aggregate, albeit that you would have achieved it by clinging limpet-like to the rock face, or (2) go and chase the game.

Tell me if I am wrong in that assessment.

Assuming that you do go and chase the game, you run the risk of getting dry-humped. What part of that assessment is wrong? Please, tell me! The fact that you defended for your lives in last night's match tells any reasonable observer that your players were scared ****less of the goal-fest that they could have been subjected to. How is that going to change when Atletico go to the King Power? Yes, you'll have the "home advantage," but that isn't going to magically turn Atletico into Everton. Oh, wait!... that's right, you lost to Everton, at the King Power.

    Do you see my point?

I know you don't like reading what I write, because I am not blowing rings of smoke up your arse like Bodi is, but I cannot honestly see that you should be taking personal digs at me when all I am doing to looking at this with objectivity. It is very childish on your part, Johnny.

Yes, because football is that cut and dry isn't it, you silly twat.....
If Atletico played better than them at their gaff, then nothing will change at the King Power.......

You know **** all about football do you?

You tried to park the bus in Madrid and got dry-humped 4-0

At least Leicester have not shamed us in Europe like Spurs

Don't post the same repetitive crap?
You have been dribbling on about the "Leicester spiral" for over a ****ing year mate.
You said they would collapse, they won the league, you said they would embarrass us in the CL, they won their group, you said they'd get tonked by Sevilla, they won, you said Atletico would hammer them 3-0, they didn't........
Yet here you are, 15 months later, still talking ****e <laugh>

And that's without all the talk of Power shifts and Spurs Juggernauts you have been talking about for ****ing years.
