Not bad...Be a good 2nd leg...suits Atletico's natural game more than Lesta's who will have to take the initiative and allow Atletico to find the pockets of space.

 

1-0 is what Atletico do.

Leicester will need to balance their need for a goal with caution, or they'll be 2-3 down before they know it.

 

Leicester didn't manage a shot on target all game in the Vicente Calderon, but that wasn't really the purpose of tonight. They simply had to stay in the tie. They have done that. The King Power will be entirely and different story.

Yes, that is my real worry.

 

My thoughts too. Not sure it's a good result at all, Leicester needed an away goal imo.

AM will score at the KP. Meaning Leicester will need 3+

 

TBH it was probably one of the most boring CL ties I've seen in a while. Nothing much from either team.

 

It was always going to be like that to be fair.

 

I thought AM would be far better, as I've seen before.

No offense to Leicester but they were pants.

 

AM are much better to watch when they play against an attacking side.

Both teams are similar in style (though one clearly in different class entirely) and neither like to be on the front foot.

Was always going to be dire to watch.

 

Think both teams were tbh. Athletico showed no ambition to kill it off which cost Sevilla. As other have mentioned it'll be completely different though. I suspect that'll be enough to see them through. Probably about avoiding embarrassment tbh. Considering the gulf in class (supposedly) I was disappointed with them. Showed little quality and too much falling to the ground. Our lot were too but most of the time I thought it was down to just lack of strength as oppose to diving

 

The slaughter, if it is going to come, will come at the King Power Stadium. Leicester will have to attack, to try to get the goal they need, and that will invite Atletico into the kind of space that they were (by and large) denied, tonight.

PS we do have our fair share of knobheads ...but yesterday some fans were getting whacked merely for walking past bars chatting to each other ...
