Explosion near the Dortmund Bus heading to the tie. Marc Bartra Injured. Game looks like it will be called off... Just horrific.
A strange game to target, no? Yes would grab headlines, and such. Just not the headline game I would have expected to be targeted.
Agreed FML and I see Juve are winning 2-0. Hope they hold on and Barca don't get the benefit of a 'biased' ref in the home leg!!! Final score 3-0 and a small stat - Juve haven't conceded a goal in almost 450 minutes of Champions' League football.
Now being said two possible groups of suspects. ISIS (Letter at scene) or Anti facist group because of Dortmunds alleged tolerance for racists and right-wing fans. (Letter on line) So either way the match makes sense as the targeted one. Anti facism associated with reputedly facist club/fans or a match in germany after Frau Merkel invited so many unchecked immigrants into Germany, made it easier than any other match to target. I'm not trying to points score for Brexit, just saying that broadly speaking, inviting 1 million people into your country with little checks with a known possibility to have a terrorist contingent within is going to/has caused problems. Bah!
That's interesting. Not heard that. Horrible situation. Sounds like it was a class match tonight anyway.
I was going to watch & support them tonight but after seeing their "fans" rip up the Plaza Mayor, and their hideous taunting of the Spanish public over Gibraltar (do the thick ***** even know where it is? ) I hope they get stuffed out of sight Farage as their mentor and the Daily Fail as their bible
I predicted 4-0 Madrid. They are 1-0 up with a non-pen which was a long way outside the box. So that should make you chuckle!
On a slightly different topic - Can you see this happening here - Barcelona forward Neymar will miss El Clasico against Real Madrid on 23 April after being banned for sarcastically applauding a referee. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39584534
