In your original copy and paste you are quoting players who were invited to play for Europe Langer etc. These players are european, you have not given any examples of non european players playing for europe, give me one example of a non european playing for Europe. The uk has chosen not to be part of the European Union, it was a simple question will the rest of europe still recognise our players as European.
Instead of you all being sheep and posting stupid ****ing pictures of head banging and give me a reason why the rest of europe would still recognise our players as being elligibe.
There are enough talented players from all over the world that could play for Europe they do not because they are not european which is what we have decided to be .....not part of europe

It's because we are still European, just will not be in the EU, which is a political and economic organisation. The European Championships is run by UEFA, which has many non EU members, including Russia. The European side of the Ryder Cup is run by the European PGA, which is similarly broad (e.g. Norway and Switzerland, non EU members host tournaments). The fact that only EU players have represented Europe to date is down to quality of players, not membership of the EU. Plus, the Europeans were invited to join the British in the Ryder Cup (at Jack Nicklaus' suggestion, he was sick of winning too easily) not the other way round. The only thing to lead anyone to think it has anything to do with the EU is the fact that the European Ryder Cup team plays uses the EU flag, for convenience I'd guess, in these days of TV graphics.

Clear enough? We have decided not to be part of the EU, we will always be geographically part of Europe. I think it's only you who doesn't get this.

have you read any of the replys

the uk is a part of europe
the ryder cup team is made up of players who are deemed good enough from the whole of europe

the eu is also only a part of europe
    i
if the european ryder cup team becomes the eu only ryder cup team then there might be an issue

You'd be surprised at the number of people I know who don't accept that Great Britain is geographically part of Europe - most know that the EU is a separate political entity to the continent of Europe though. You'd be less surprised that none of them voted to Remain last year.

Yes, I wrote without thinking too deeply on that. To some the U.K. is clearly a continent.
