Nowhere in the rules did it say that he could choose his own avatar.

He broke the rules and welched on the bet.

I have nothing to prove. I honoured the bet. Pixie, however, tried to wriggle out of it, when things were looking bad for Arsenal. I have little doubt that he will try to wriggle out of this bet, should things start to look bad for Arsenal.

 

On the contrary. When the original bet was mooted, the very first comment on that thread was me accepting it. You had to be bullied and shamed into accepting, crying that 'I will not give up my avatar !'

When you lost, you welched in a shameful way. Blubbing that you wouldn't do it because I'd goaded you too much. It was a act of sheer cowardice. And you were rightly ridiculed.

Not so fast Piskie ... luv said HE would pick the avatar ... full stop. It's only months later he said he would ask for suggestions , you zipped past that fact pretty smoothly . I suggest to you that if HAIG won the bet and Luv took " Suggestions " , after the original agreement , and Luv picked HAIG's suggestion , you'd be up in arms .

 

No, sorry but you're wrong. Luv said he would ask for suggestions pretty much straight away in that thread. HIAG had no objection to that at the time, and indeed he was giving it the big un when it looked like Spurs would finish above us and was even giving his own suggestions as to my avatar. So that excuse doesn't wash mate.

After HIAG lost the bet, he saw the avatar that Luv had chosen as was quoted as saying he would 'fully honour the terms of the bet'. He then came out with the excuse that he wouldn't go through with it because I had taken the piss out of him

It was a welching of monumental proportions.

Your right , I'm wrong ... he did say he would take suggestions a post or two after he said that ' You ( Piskie ) would not be picking the avatar " which means everyone's suggestions was welcome besides you and HAIG .

 

So he said that Piskie wouldn't pick the avatar and then picked Piskie's avatar?!
I missed that, but I do remember Piskie trying to change the terms of the bet when he thought he'd lost.
Seems he forgot to mention that.
