I can't believe- as grown men - we haven't learnt to ignore a thread if you so wish. Re Red Flags comments about moderation- I suggest if your not happy to then take it up with AH in private message. You've stated before you have a problem, so instead of sounding like a broken record, be pro active about it I don't think the integrity of the board needs to be bought in to question. Still share great banter with you boys and it's neither better nor worse for Jonathan posting. He's a fan, I'm a fan, your a fan of CAFC- so what's the problem? I'd like to think we could have a bit more tolerance than someone starting 2-3 threads a day!
Alll welcome on here in my view whoever they are....I`d welcome A2C withopen arms. The more the merrier.
Bye Ponders! I didn't read the Riots thread so I don't really know what went on but it would be a shame to lose someone over an opinion - surely that's what this board is for, us all to share ideas, beliefs and provoke debate? Hope you reconsider mate!
Hmmm... we do have to consider what it is that makes the debate on here good... are you sure about that last bit Mikey?!
Come on Ponders me old mucker, don't jack it all in. Its been fun talking about books, music, and CAFC with you. Don't let the bxxxxxxx grind you down. Get back to posting on here soon. Cheers me old mate
PEA i'm shocked. Please reconsider your resignation from a truly brilliant little forum. Us Addicks have got to stick together through thick and thin.
Yep I would that may not be a popularist opinion but I welcome anyone on here makes for lively debate though doubt he`ll make an apearance he`s probably on the other charlton forum
I agree with the Doc.. People need to ''Man Up''.. Its a forum where people are entitled to opinions even if we don't agree with them, As much as Akworth can be annoying he has as much right as anyone to be on here and i think its pathetic that people would leave a forum because of 1 person, Like franco hit the block button or just ignore there posts if you dont agree or like them
Just got back from Edgbaston, so been a bit quiet over weekend.Great win by the lads yesterday BTW. PEA mate, i totally echo everyone's thoughts on her, this forum wil be much less without you. Dont do it ! We all our little 'tiffs' some time, but lifes too short mate to make knee-jerk reactions that you might regret. I generally agreed with your comments over the Riots - as did a few others, whereas a few took exception, but dont let it get you down - one or two had a pop at me, but i know that deep down we all have that one thing flowing through our veins, which is CAFC. Thats the most important thing. Riots will be forgotten and life moves on. I ask you to reconsider, please, for our sakes, and ultimately for the forums sake , because you add a heck of a lot of value to it. Stu
Hmm... having posted on this elsewhere it's now occurred to me... is there anything more futile than posting to a person not to leave when they've already left? I have mourned the loss of Ponders and will now get back to the great Green/Waggy debate of 2011, or the equally interesting 'when does Alonso fit in?' or 'is Euell past it?', 'Bover... the new Cesc Fabregas?', 'What happens when BWP gets injured?', 'are we really saying Doherty is the 3rd best CB at the club and does that fill anyone else with dread based on last year's performances?', 'Hayes... "You're just a small part of Bromley"... fair chant?'. These are the real issues facing us, me dears.
The Alonso topic deserves it's own thread- I'm still very, very excited for him to break in to the squad!
