Jason in the squad today so if we take it that he`s on the bench and Danny Green is also in the squad who misses out from last weeks 16...

I reckon same lineup as last week Mikey except for Euell and Green on the bench instead of Pritchard and possibly Sullivan

in another note i'm pleased Benson isn't lining up against us today as I think he would have scored as many ex-Charlton player tends to do

Jason E. on the bench, together with Green? You cannot be serious!!

I know we won well last week, but surely Green has to be in the 11?

Powell has made his first mistake, and we will pay for it big time.

    fair points ahll...however,

WAGSTAFF. come on rufus mate, if you know the game you just cant drop a lad after he has scored such a beauty.

lets get behind the boys, not slate them. powelly is a star, give him a chance because he is obviously learning, and at a rapid rate.

Think it's fine to be cynical about Powell's team selections and tactics after last year, but he's doing a great job of proving some people wrong on here... so far.

If so, could we have a few more betting tips from them on the forum?

ok, so Chris got away with it today; and l was wrong. Congrats to all concerned.

However, Green has to play next week with Pritchard (in my opinion).

MT, didn't you want Benno in for Hayes?(I did too)
As for being right, I leave that to my Missus.

As I said on another thread, I think we may be seeing early signs of a squad system in operation here, with regular rotation of players, keeping people on their toes and really fresh and hungry.

I hope so. It's something we've not seen before. However I'd like to see the occasional tactical substitution made a bit earlier in the match. For instance it might have been an idea to bring on Green for a striker because he's one player who can hold on to the ball and take pressure off the defence. I wasn't there but would like to hear from someone who was.

I've been waiting 45 years to see that, FHB. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Whatever manager we've had, it's never been a strong point of our game.

Best one I've ever seen was when we were 2-0 down to Nottingham Forest away and getting played off the park - enter Gary Nelson - goal with his first touch and another one ten minutes later, finished with a very respectable Desmond.

If I was manager, I would've brought on Green for Wagstaff around 70 mins, then Euell for Hayes and Doherty for BWP at around the same times as we made those subs.
