I had no intentions on betting on Tennis, or anything else as it goes. Just sat up one night and started off with a tenner. Ended up £600 down after about an hour.

Crept upstairs and slipped into bed, knowing full well in the morning I was in **** street.

You seen the 2017 summer catalogue? <swimwear section>

It wasn't even proper Tennis, some **** tournament happening somewhere random. I think it was the only live betting on the site <laugh>

I've been with mine eighteen years and still maintain my own bank account.

That way I can buy trainers, golf clubs and gamble with impunity.

Mine is always complaining about her lack of visibility of our finances. Obviously it's deliberate. What I do for a living means it's either feast or famine. I don't want her to worry when times are tough and I don't want her to know when times are good as she'll soon make them tough again!

... remember as a teenage lad my mum's youngest sister used to do the Littlewoods and Grattan catalogues - all the family would tryy and order something monthly so my mum would always pass them round and ask if we wanted anything - they were the good old days (before the advent of airbrushing) and growlers were en vogue ... so me and my cousins as young teenage lads found it well worth a secretive peruse through the lingerie pages as the lacey numbers often showed a good flash of muff! <laugh> ... happy times ... before the loss of innocence <laugh>

Surely a quid each on Man Utd / Arsenal at 1000/2000 would have been a far
better wager with your loose change ??

The premises are a lot cleaner too.
Probably nicer premises to watch a PL game in now, than some pubs
(you have the commentary on mute for starters) . :)

Did that one night slaughtered playing live blackjack and roulette after a night out.

I was a large amount up, and then lost the lost and chased it. I woke up in the morning hoping it was a dream, but it wasn't, the damage to my account was frightening.

I'm daft enough to have a shared account, didn't say a word though, and about 4 days later she happened to log on to the account........the aftermath wasn't pretty.

Was that fairly recently? I remember you saying you'd lost a fair whack.

Or are you like me and often repeat the same mistakes, hoping for different results?!

No mate, a while back, I go to the casino every month or 2 though, and I blew a wedge a couple of months back, and funnily enough I went last week and had the same result <laugh> I've had a few good wins to balance that out over time though, but on line is a mugs game. I rarely even have a bet on line anymore, as it's too easy to get carried away.

A good example is me spending 265k in 15 months when I was 18. That's about the equivalent of half a mil in today's money.

Bought a Talbot Highwayman and went touring. ****ing expensive. I toured like a boss, only now I realise I actually toured like a total jebend.
