I'd hope that Ehab has a bit of faith that Marco can spot a bargain and set him a half decent budget from which Silva can put together a pretty competitive outfit. We've already got 10m committed to Niasse though.
Interesting, the club definitely has both as a Head Coach. My question was only ever why that was the case if they were indeed managers.
Anyway sorry for discussing Silva's position at the club and what his role entails in a thread about Silva's position at the club and how long he will be in it. Which my thread about his contract situation got merged into. Carry on.
I suppose it depends on what market the company prospectus was aimed at. Could it be that in order to explain the importance of the position to buyers from the USA and China, the role "Head Coach" is easier to explain than "Club Manager".
Head coach, the first bus in a convoy of buses. Club manager, the bloke who looks after the bats in a baseball game.
They could call them "Principle Organiser" or "Head Boss" or "Top Football McFooty Face" - the details of their job would be negotiated as usual. The title is meaningless. I'm sure Milan Manderic employed a lot of Managers but he effectively picked the team himself. He wasn't thinking 'Oh only if i had employed a head coach instead,I wouldn't have had this much grief from the fans'.
Head coach is a term used by some in Tiger Travel for the legendary Coach One bus which contains the hardcore flasker elite.
