I'm with you on this. They are a local rival of ours and away days (indeed home days) were always a bit of a "thrill" during my formative years ... but I don't take any pleasure in their current predicament, partly because that could have been us if not for our wonderful Thai owners .. also Coventry is a big city and deserving of more in terms of a football team .. Now as to the town itself .. went out there a few times in the mid-80s ... lots of the bars and clubs etc were in and around the shopping centre .. it really was "rough as fcuk" ...... not been back for many years ... don't know if it's changed or been redeveloped .... the main attraction for going there was that the girls you would likely meet on a night out seemed to be great advocates of "sharing the love"
