If Wenger is still in charge and in the EL he'll play the kids like he does in the LC.

Palace are the least of uniteds problems! It's Chelsea Arsenal Spurs and city that could ruin their challenge!

We aren't constantly clearing balls, same as Mignolet isn't pulling saves off all game long like someone like Pickford. It's the composed games and where you need constant focus for the odd chance when it comes along.

Thats why we concede so many, none of our defenders clear the ball <laugh>

know what you mean though, it's like Keane and Gibson for Burnley who are being talked up. Totally different sitting on 18 yard line for 90 mins just kicking and heading away anything that gets near you compared to playing on half way line and having to deal with 1v1s

So basically you are saying Sakho is ok in a relegation threatened team where last ditch defending is required a lot?

I truly don't think that Bournemouth, as one example, would have got that second one at Anfield if Sakho had been there. He'd have won that second ball, and he certainly wouldn't have allowed King to slowly turn around on our six yard line like a freighter turning in the Ship Canal, and score that goal. No disrespect to Klavan, who in my book has done a decent-ish job as our FOURTH placed CB, now elevated to third, it would appear, and often overlooked for Lucas even when we were playing against a team of six-footers.

They were outsiders before tonight. now they are a long shot.

If City win the Derby, Arsenal are fooked. They need a draw in that game, or failing that a Utd win.

Do you believe that though, Saint?

Personally I saw enough from Sakho to think that he could definitely perform at the highest level, and the whole reason he was shipped out of Anfield was because of his lack of professionalism, which is something Klopp obviously values very highly.

And the reason for him being shipped out of the France national squad?

Probably because he was banned for allegedly taking a banned substance which meant he missed the Euros, and he hadn't played regular football from April 2016 to about this time last month when he started getting games for Palace again? A team with the quality and depth of France aren't going to be picking a centre half with 6 games under his belt in a year, no matter how much quality he has.
