The way I look at this, if this was the QF of the CL and we'd drawn Anderlecht I think we'd all be expecting to go through to the SF. This should be no different. For this game I'd like to think we can get a couple of away goals.

Interesting fact 1 - Anderlecht is a side in Belgium. As a result there's nothing interesting to say. They play in purple. There that'll do.

Interesting fact 2 - talking of the QF of the CL, it's been 10 years since we thrashed Roma 7-1. I was at the game. It was our anniversary, **** knows how I convinced the Mrs to go <laugh> This year we're off to Cornwall, oh well.

As for the game itself we''ll have the same players that played Sunderland...

“We have lots of injuries. I don't think it's even possible for us to rotate a lot. Jones, Smalling, Mata, Rooney, Young – all these people are out. I think Valencia is the only one who can recover to play Thursday. This is our team, the ones who played (vs Sunderland) and the ones on the bench. No central defenders, just these two (Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly) but we keep fighting."

    Prediction: 2-2

Will be in the Cotswolds myself.
Do they even have TV's there or is it all just tweed and killing foxes?

Seems Jose has forgotten Timbo Mensa exists but I suppose it's too late in the season for him to suddenly change tack on his selection ideas.

We'll no doubt grind out the customary draw and then win one nil at home.

    Onwards and upwards. Ish.

As long as Fellaini is Captain, we've got a chance <laugh>

The rise of Fellaini has been phenomenal <whistle>

Viewed as a disaster when playing for the man who brought him: Moyesie. He stayed around and was used occasionally by LVG in his baffling selections and his pedestrian system. But when we all thought that JM will kick him out, he is made...CAPTAIN. Two fingers to his haters...

I lost confidence in Moyes when he couldn't make proper use of Zaha, one of the better players in the premiership. Was he affected by the fact (or the rumours) that he and his daughter had something going? We'll never know but Zaha is yet another good player that we let go: Pogba, RVP, Welbeck, Hernandez, Di Maria. Most of thsoe were released by LVG. He bought them but then he found he couldn't fit them in his system or they were so diminished that they were of no good. It is like employing Matt damon for £50m to play in Emmerdale. Totally wasted.

I think Europa league should be our main focus to get into CL
Knowing Jose and Cheslea revenge is coming we will try to win both and may gamble today .. no way he will field weaker team Sunday
the QS is can our main teams players cope?
Anderlecht can surprise us like Gent did to Spurs more as they are better side than Gent

I've gone by Anderlecht's recent form (last 10 games). They've not been consistent or prolific. If they surprise us we need shooting quite frankly.

It really comes down to how badly we really want to win this competition and whether we've prepared well enough for the game.

It will be tough but I think we should be able to come back with a result. But no matter what, JM will be selecting his best players for each match and won't be thinking about the next.

Surprised Bailly is playing to be honest - both he and Herrera are one booking away from a suspension.

You can't worry about that too much, it just rolls on to the next game otherwise.

Good team that, I like it.

Am I the only one baffled as to why the FA think its a good idea to give Man United a Thursday night game away in a foreign country, when they have a game on Sunday against us?
We have had a week to prepare for this game.
You guys will not get home till the early hours of tomorrow morning, by the time they have slept, you'll have like 1 full training session to prepare for our match!!
