  1. Everton 4 v 2 "Shakey" Leicester

Looks like the bubble has popped yet again.

No one is more disappointed than me.

It's called resting players for the champions league quarter final not resting players in the champions league to concentrate on getting back in the champions league to go out in the group stages :emoticon-0148-yes:

  3. So, if you get dry-humped in the CL, will you admit that Shakey made a massive **** up, today?

No absolutely not. What's the point in competing if you're not going to have a go? We're looking much better in the league now. If we were still in immediate trouble I'd think differently

  5. And, yet, when Spurs did exact the same thing - except that Poch rested players for the Prem - you and the rest of the Chuckle Gang wummed like absolute bastards!
    <laugh>

    You couldn't make this up!

i never remember even looking at your line ups in league games let alone mention it on here. I know you have a massive chip on your shoulder but to claim people have wummed on a subject they have never mentioned is poor form kiddo. If you can find anything to prove your claims right I will of course stand corrected. Otherwise it'll show you are once again throwing false claims around :emoticon-0148-yes:

Is that like Poncetto resting players when you had a real chance of qualifying from your group because he was saving players for the Chelsea game at the Bridge. Just how did that pan out again Gimps?

@Hoddle Is A God so you care to explain why you do this? I'm getting pretty fed up of you constantly bringing me up in subjects and having a go at me to suit your massive complex

It wouldn't be a 'choice' for a big club, it'd be both ;)

If you play like that in Madrid you'll get dry humped.

I don't think anyone would try to claim that Leicester are a big club.

They are in the QF. of the CL though. I doubt they'll get dry humped. They didn't get dry humped by Seville, and they played them during their "Work to Rule" phase.

They'll have to be significantly better than they were yesterday. The CB playing alongside Huth was total ****e, and Morgan is injured.

It has been the history of our club to revolve between the top two divisions with some pleasing interludes, Matt Gilles in the 1960s, Jimmy Bloomfield in the 1970s and and Martin O'Neil in the 1990s. So attempting to deride us for our history won't really have much impact on older fans. We have never been able to attract particularly wealthy owners so we have lived within our means - we have had to sell our best talent to balance the books so a "good cup run" was largely the extent of expectation.

Times have changed - the steady rise of the club under are Thai owners has been backed by substantial investment and we now have a squad that is obviously capable of beating anyone on our day. So the "usual" was then - the unusual for us as a club is now - and I expect to see us consolidat as a top 10 club over the next 5 -10 years and push for Europe as well from time to time.

So yes - we were habitual relegation battlers - but we will likely finish well clear of the real battle this season now - but we have also won the title ... some seem very bitter about that - particularly those who have never won the EPL title but think they should have and particularly rather than us ...

All those relegation battles have now been well worth it ... 6 clubs have won the EPL up until now ... probably still be 6 clubs this time next year.... that's life <ok>
