And some more. Both 9 under now. Great battle. Credit to Garcia. He looked like finishing 10th on 2 under at one point.
Rose was on the Saturday morning Sky sports 1 programme a few weeks back with Helen Chamberlain and was saying how he liked and respected Pochettino as a manager and as a role model. He said he would sometimes spend a couple of hours chatting with him in a day about football and life. Seems strange he'd share that info voluntarily and then make it known a few weeks later that he wanted out...the city stuff has been around for months so it ain't like it's news to him. Also, why wouldn't a journalist question how City had got Rose's views when they (or anyone on their behalf) can not approach him about a transfer as Spurs had not accept a bid for him and had not given city permission to talk to him? Surely a journalist would (if this was true) make it into an exclusive back page scoop that City were illegally tapping up a rival's player. The ussue I have with football transfer journalists is that they are never questioned or challenged about what they get wrong after the event so they continue (year in and year out) to write rubbish with no fear of ridicle or the sack...tbh if I made so many false, fake or wrong predictions about the kids in school as part of my job I'd be out on my arse quicker than west hams owner can produce porn
It's all about money to the hacks. "Kane could get £15m in China". "He'll join Arsenal for an extra £20 a week". "Citeh have unending wealth, he has to go there." These guys will be wealthy forever, no matter what. Happiness and success mean a great deal too. Currently, we have the happiest of camps and look like we're heading for success. It's beyond most hacks but the odd one or two can see that things have changed and we are building a group of players that are a band of brothers. The only players leaving this summer are those we don't want to keep.
I wouldn't say golf or darts are my favourite sports, but the way the advantage can swing so quickly can make them compelling viewing. This is compelling viewing.
I can't help feeling it's written in the stars for Sergio to win. 73 Majors, no win, Seve's 60th birthday....
