Ref completely ****ed the game today like. Very poor all round. Still, it's common theme all over league, one of the many reasons I'm losing interest in the game. I don't watch non Sunderland games anymore and just had my fill of the Sunderland ones. Anyway, I'm going for snooze

First of all, referee was awful.

Second, we did alright till the sending off and then you can't really criticise the lads much after that.

Ndong and Denayer to come out with the most credit imo.

Big shout out to Rodwell and N'Dong for keep going all game and keeping us in it. I thought N'Dong was all over the pitch today. My MOTM.

It shouldn't have been a red card but I thought we done better with 10 men than we did with 11. Anichebe and Cattermole clearly weren't match sharp but that's understandable.

Zlatan showed his class today and I thought Romero's distribution was outstanding.

 

I thought he had a **** game TBH, he got a lot of decisions wrong, including the red card. Was that any worse than Luke Shaw's tackle from behind? IMO it wasn't and should have been a yellow at worst. Not that we were ever in the game at that point but the ref just killed the game with that red card.

I think the only consolation was that Larsson is utterly awful and you probably won't miss him in the game he's suspended for, assuming it doesn't get overturned.
