Well you clearly haven't Tubby. Despite being known as a whisky, Mekhong is in fact much closer to a rum. The distilled spirit is made from 95 percent sugar cane/molasses and 5 percent rice.

The FACT of the matter is it is Thai whiskey.
Having spent a combined total of eight weeks in various areas of Thailand over two visits I know this to be the case.

I agree, it's **** all like actual Whiskey. That not the point though.

Well if that's the case you'll know that the thai's are great imitators and it could have a totally different name on the bottle but thats not whats inside. The mere fact that its made from 95% sugar cane/molasses would tell most intelligent and informed people exactly what it is. Baring in mind that whisky is made from 100% various grains.

  15. Ironically, I'm currently drinking Singha in my garden, which is a Thai beer.

    Is it Thai whiskey?

Did I refer to it as Thai whiskey?

Did I once say it was actual whiskey?

  18. Oh, dear! You are such a pointless tool, Skiddy.

I paid £5 for three bottles, at my local ASDA.

Remember ASDA? A real supermarket, selling proper food, not the dog's bollocks, monkey brains, and fried locusts that you have to put up with.
