Looked that way, but it was deflected on the way to him and was slightly behind him. Still could have hooked it in, but not the sitter it initially looked. Pep is a crap coach for this league and I don't think he'll ever win it unless he changes.
Newcastle had a penalty goal disallowed for encroachment and the ref awarded a free kick to Burton! Imagine if that had been the difference between promotion and missing out. The sort of thing that would happen to us... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39426682
Half time and Blackburn 2 down, Burton 1 down, Birmingham 1 down, Forest 1 up, Bristol City 2 up. Sad we're having to look anxiously over our shoulder...
how frustrating to be a football fan. Reading with high hopes of a play-off spot, 6-1 down against a Norwich side, favourites for promotion at the start of the season, who finally decide to turn up
With our 3 losses on the trot, we are fortunate that Blackburn seem at this point destined to hang onto the 3rd relegation spot on 40 pts, 10 behind us. The playoff bound Fakes getting pasted at Norwich, 6-1 down at HT.
2-1 FT - Fulham are perhaps going to regret those matches they squandered when Sheff Wed went through a wobbly patch.
I thought that was just me getting on a bit, but a few games this season I've struggled to follow the ball
I think it's safe to say that we'll be playing Sunderland next season. 0-2 v Man U after 46 minutes. Larsson was sent off in the 1st half which I thought was rather harsh. It was a foul but I thought it was a yellow. Maybe football should introduce another card which is between a yellow and a red. The player still has to go off but the wronged side can choose the replacement from the subs bench. At least that way a soft sending off doesn't spoil the game as it has done in this instance.
Never a red. Herrera didn't even throw himself to the floor, and the rest of the United players didn't surround the ref in feigned outrage.
