Stop trying to put words in my mouth. Answer this, clearly whatever they did the last 3 seasons where we got promoted, stayed up and won the league was doing well whatever they were eating. Why change it whatever it was? It is simple, everything worked, he changed most of it, it didn't and ergo he was rightfully removed from the role. Is it that difficult?

How am I putting words in your mouth? You said it was not "fine" to battle relegation, yet a cursory glance at the table says that is exactly what your players are doing.

As for your question, it's simple to answer: pasta and sweet potatoes for lunch had you finish in the top half, chicken burgers and potato wedges had you finishing in the bottom half. So are you sure that it worked? Because there's compelling evidence that disagrees with you - not just based on a couple of seasons in the history of Leicester City FC, but also decades of sports nutrition.

Where's your evidence that they had pasta and sweet potato last season and the downturn was due to changing to burgers this? I'm not disputing that burgers are crap food, but the point is he changed it from what was working well then it didn't

I think 5 more wins will do the job.

  7. Dan Vitran from Leicester: I'd love spurs to win the title. Tired of seeing the big money spenders win everything in life and always get their way ie Barca, Real, Juventus, Manchester Clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal. What a refreshing change if after Leicester last season another low spender wins the title. This fox is definitely backing and hoping Spurs do it.

Remember the oft-repeated story from last season how all Ranieri needed to do to motivate the players to keep a clean sheet was offer them a pizza? That wouldn't have worked if they were eating junk every day after training.

It also has to be said that Simpson's response is particularly childish: after all, how many mid-to-late 90s Arsenal players have ever whinged to the press that Wenger took away their pre-game Mars bars? The only reason that story's even known is because Wenger mentioned it a few years ago. That's the wider issue, when players think they know better - and soon find out they don't.

you're making assumptions which is fine if you aren't trying to pass it off as fact. I wouldn't say it motivated them as it took long enough to get a clean sheet, it was just media banter and a bit of fun which Raneiri did excellently at

There's a lot to like about Spurs and I wouldn't say otherwise because of a tool on a forum. Any other year than last, I would have always rooted for Spurs if they were challenging and I'd like Chelsea purely because of Kante and I like Conte as well.
That handshake think of Alli's is pathetic though

Actually you're wrong on that, since Ranieri himself has said that he made the offer of a pizza before the Palace game - which happened to be the first game where you kept a clean sheet. Here's the story: https://www.theplayerstribune.com/claudio-ranieri-leicester-city-premier-league/

I'm not wrong because you can't prove that. I never said he made the promise sooner but to say they weren't motivated is a joke. He made the full back changes not long before that game which was one of the best moves he made and was the start of looking more solid. How you can put the fact that the clean sheet in that game purely down to the pizza promise and not an element of 1) it being overdue and 2) co-incidence is beyond me

A direct quote from Claudio Ranieri where he says he used pizza as motivation for his players to keep a clean sheet before the first match where they kept a clean sheet is not proof that Ranieri used pizza as motivation for his players to keep a clean sheet before the first match where they kept a clean sheet? Not even when there's photographic evidence in the article I posted of the Leicester players in the pizzeria making their pizza?

Yeah...you saying that I'm wrong is the joke here.

I'm saying all your assumptions are a joke. Anyway you posted the article trying to provoke and dig at Leicester so deal with it when you get questioned on it

  16. I know what you mean, Johnny.

I'm still rooting for Leicester in the CL, despite three tools on this board.
