Fulham's win has pushed Sheff Wed out of the play off places so I think we should expect a very motivated opposition today. Will be a tough game no doubt.
Didn't realise how close we were to automatic promotion with the way other matches went. If we had won today then Reading were pretty much out of it. We would have been on 87 with Reading able to get a maximum 88. Can't see Reading getting the maximum and we can surely find 4 more points. That leaves Huddersfield really. Of course, being Newcastle we could easily snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
Reading were never challenging. It was Huddersfield only really and they needed to pretty much win every game left. They seem to have run out of puff in last few weeks. They can get 92 points so 2 wins for Brighton and they are up (bearing a miracle swing in GD). Can't see Huddersfield winning all 7 so 90 points will be enough which is 2 more wins for you as well. Think husdersfield lost today sealed sealed promotion for top 2
Youve got a couple of easy games left to win 2. I can't see Huddersfield winning enough games to go up based on their current form.
The title is Brighton's to lose now. You've only really got two semi-awkward games left. Norwich and Villa away, who are at best unpredictable and inconsistent.
