If we can pull this off I would be amazed! http://www.football-oranje.com/norwich-city-hoping-make-dijks-deal-permanent/
I don't think its entirely far fetched. He obviously had some sort of falling out of favour at AJAX. He has been decent for us, but he looks like another accident waiting to happen at times. Not only for his sending off (though I believe that was Nelson's fault!) But rugby tackles in the area and other pulling and risky stuff. I don't see him getting game time for a PL club and unless a relegated side with buckets of money can offer him better terms, I think we will remain one of the better payers in the championship. So much will depend on the persuasiveness of both our DoF and HC. Bah!
Gotta say. Brighton have been an impressive machine this season. I'd like to see them beat money bags Newcastle to the title. Newcastle set out to buy the title. Brighton have done it through hard work and very shrewd signings.
He had Toon top half in Prem when Fat Ashley sacked him so not too shabby at that level! As for running the club properly, I'm not sure Gus Poyet would agree with you!
What a waste of money! Well over £3m on agents fees, and look where it's got us. Plus having to sell to facilitate buying, it's a huge expense the club would do well to prune down - we should use ITFC as a role model in this http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...4968269?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=dlvr.it
So happy to see Sheffield United come back to the Championship. They have been down there way too long. They are too good for League 1 level.
My best laugh today is reading that Wolves' rich owners want Premier League status PDQ Bristol City 3-1 Wolves OOOOPS , poor Paul Lambert!
If only Snoddy hadn't been so jealous! http://www.football-oranje.com/vitesse-4-2-heerenveen-van-wolfswinkel-hat-trick-downs-frisians/
18 for the season, second top scorer in the league! With that number of goals, it'll be interesting to see if anyone considers taking a punt on him. Sebastien Haller was linked with us and other Premier League clubs last season, and he's only got 13 for the season so far. I doubt we'll see him back on these shores though given his history here.
Looks like Shakespeare could be offered the manager's job at Leicester beyond the end of the season - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...speare-delivering-happy-ending-Leicester.html
Well, having won their last 5 league games, and gone from one point from safety to eight, not really a surprise. I bet poor old Ranieri is as sick as a parrot!
