It were not best that we should all think alike; it is difference of opinion that makes horse races. - Mark Twain Vin
Great win; good first 60, then we got stuck too deep once West Brom made their changes and I think we lacked outlets once Redmond and Ward-Prowse came off. Hojbjerg did well, the centre backs were great but the man of the match was Forster, well done!
Yay!! I'm keeping to my predictons of doom and gloom from now on ...... We'll lose by a hatful against Citeh next week
That's a great win, especially in terms of how gritty it was. Really encouraging. Jack and Maya building a nice pairing.
Whisper it quietly, but keep this team together, give Claude a full, proper pre-season, and I really think next season we could be in for a hell of a ride.
We just went away to a Tony Pulis side and won, keeping a clean sheet in doing so, and we didn't have: Van Dijk, Romeu, Davis, Boufal, Gabbiadini, Austin
Good results for the week. 7/9 Points and no losses. Opposition had chances but couldn't convert....about time it wasn't us. Well done, Saints.
At the beginning of the season they were too slow in possession, however now that the players are understanding Puel's tactics we are progressing. With Gabbiadini up front you could imagine this team doing very well. Ps. I thought Tadic had a great first 70 mins.
Balls! Another match thread to prepare. I've loved Maya for a long time. Now I just want to have his babies. Sadly, with a year left on his contract come June, I don't think we'll be seeing him and Virgil play together again as he'll be off to China. Shame; I think their pairing would have been nigh on invincible. Vin
Blimey.! On Final Score, Jason Mohammad said "wonderful support from those Saints fans", as a picture shows thousands of cheering supporters. So, proof that media think we exist after all.
