    We went next door to Bugibba last couple of times we were there. Big mistake the second time - we were with the Tartan Army & went 'all-inclusive'. Carnage.

    One of my pals has a regular (acoustic) gig on a Wednesday in the Velvet Lounge. If you see Deni, tell her I was asking for her. DO NOT drink with her. You'll wake up feeling like death in a gutter in some God-forsaken hole somewhere & wonder how you got there. I make this mistake often & never learn.

    Don't like Bugibba so we go northside of the bay if I go back there to live I think I will live in the west away from the touristy bits <ok>

    I can understand why you'd want to avoid the tourists. I would too. You must go to Granny's for a curry though - just off Bugibba square. I had the same Chicken Tikka/Roti meal 4 days on the trot. Best I ever tasted - and cheap too!

    Bridcutt injured and Sacko not in the squad (he had an ankle knock). Nothing been said about Silvestri yet.
