I've seen blind people pass the ball more accurately than Liverpool in the Second Half. Everytime Flanagan gets the ball, it's guaranteed to end up at the feet of a Sunderland player. ........... kenny chose to play him aswell as henderson ...... still a midtable team i guess
We finished 6th last season... Which isn't mid-table. If you've not got anything positive to say, don't say anything. Just be quiet.
Great result for us away from home, big worry about Gyan's injury. Fair result in the end. We just need that left winger. Of the new lads Larsson looks like a real asset.
Kelly should have started over Flano Aquilani should have been on the bench at minimum Kuyt should have started over Henderson
This wakka guy did this on 606 all the time, and now here. Why does he put so much effort into pretending he's a Liverpool fan when he isn't? Creating 2 accounts just to talk ****.
Well, could have been better, could have been worse. Sunderland are a decent team and you never know how the first game of the season is going to go. I do think Kenny made a mistake with having Flannagan and Henderson on the right though, very strange decision. Sounds like Richardson should have been sent off as well which would have changed things, but what can you do...
Fair play to Sunderland. I felt we played well first half but didn't perform in the second half. Good luck to Sunderland for the rest of the season.
Well done, no doubt our resident bindipper will be telling me they were robbed by the ref and you didnt deserve the point all the other excuses they always come out with.
Good point away from home for us, now for the Big one next week Three points against the mags is whats needed
Well, we got the point. Downing and Adam are really impressing me. Downing did seem to get a little lost in the second half but overall the team didn't do great in the half either. Overall - Brilliant first half, dissapointing second half but its the first game of the season and the passing was sharp in the first half.
Was Kelly injured or something? You'd think if it would be Kelly/Henderson or Flanno/Kuyt, rather than pairing the two with the least experience. Flannagan's gotta learn to watch the flight of the ball. Last game of last season he was caught underneath it when Downing scored, and the same again today.
My God, I know he has 'presence' in the box, but Carroll is raw. Terrible touch and no footballing brain. Liverpool faded badly in the 2nd half. Well deserved point for Sunderland.
