    To be fair, Simpson could be at left back and Raylor at right back, which isn't a bad choice.

    Because, "Pardew is delighted to have secured Shola's new contract. He has done a terrific job for him since he's been at club (!?) and is a great character to have round the place"

    Every manager never seem to understand that 90% of the time, he's useless. What lengths must he go too, to make every manager believe he has a place in the side!?

    It's going to be frustrating, I can tell already. If Besty was starting it wouldn't be so bad. Argggh

    Things will look brighter once Ben Arfa and Marv are back fit though, and a new LB (Pieters) is signed.

    I would have played O'Bertan just behind Ba.
    Playing Ameobi is ridiculous, but there's always a reason. Maybe the two strikers have impressed in training and formed a good partnership? I'm still optimistic, that's a good team and a decent bench.

    And Marveaux is rumoured to have picked up a knock in training. Nothing serious, he just didn't pass the fitness test.

    Was seriously looking forward to this match to see some new guys. Shola starts and Vuckic isn't even on the bench either, what a damn shame.

    Knowing Pardew it'll be on the 80th minute with no time to really change the game in any way. Oh and Shola will last the 90 minutes on pitch too <doh>

    If skyplayer doesnt stop 'buffering' every 10 seconds my laptop is going through the window.

    Nothing gets on my tits as much as buffering during a football match.

    The only player out of the Arsenal midfield I'd consider is Ramsey, and he wouldn't get in ahead of Tiote or Cabaye. So I think we can get at least a draw.
