Indeed - I think that this thread probably accounts for over a third of my posts so it seems to be the right place for my 1000 post to have appeared!
Just got the sad news that Ikutaro Kakehashi died earlier this week http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39471567 (WTF this was not out there in the mainstream God knows) . I thank you both as a fellow engineer, and a devotee of electronic music, for the colossal impact you had on the world. You were the future over 35 years ago, and you still are now.
I have posted this before but it really is worth another post I just think that this has everything, her great voice and to me the enjoyment she gets from this performance is amazing and she looks fantastic too.
****ing BBC ****s!! Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induct Yes 40 years late - and they don't even mention the one UK artist on the list!!! Pearl Jam, Tupac and Joan Baez join Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39537967
I don't recall them covering how they fiddled the vote to keep the Dave Clark Five out a few years back either...
Or the fact that Justin Rose is once again the highest placed Englishman in the Masters - but doesn't get a mention above McIlroy et al..... Apologies for change of topic - just that the BBC pissed me off
