Good job you lot weren't around in 1939 or the Panzers would have been marching down the Mall in three months. No one, including optimists like me , expected anything against Spurs but West Ham on Saturday is a different story. We must not play Fer at fullback in this game as it is a double whammy. We lose his presence in midfield and he is no full back and not even a very good defender. If Naughton is out it must be Amat , an under 23 or even VDH

Given Andy Carroll - and doubts about Naughton's fitness - wonder if Clement will opt for 3 Centre Backs & 2 Wing Backs?

In that eventuality, Mawson, Fernandez & Amat, with Routs(?) & Olsson - given he doesn't (I understand) rate Kingsley.

    Thoughts?

MUST WIN GAME . We need to drag new blood into the relegation battle and this 6 pointer against the Hammers is an obvious choice . I'm not down on the team , we've had injury problems and I 'm hoping we can get guys back sooner rather than later . West Ham have lost , I think , 5 in a row so a win here brings them into the fray . Maybe Palace and Hull are finished their cycle of " Good Games " .Burnley might get dragged into the battle also . We need to play someone else at RB than Fer , if Naughton isn't available . Not from any fault of Fer's ( I'm sure he doesn't want to play RB ) , only that we've done well with him up front with Llorente , Siggy and Routs .
    Fab
    VDH , Fernandez , Mawson , Olsson
    Routs , Cork , Fer , Carroll , Siggy
..................Llorente ( Ayew if necessary )

yeah, you have improved immensely after sacking the American and buying a few players, though Llorente being injured sees you struggle for goals.

I'm not complaining about that, but I know quite a number who got season tickets and they were Manu and Liverpool supporters, who never ever watched the Swans until we reach the PL, there will be plenty of empty seats next season for sure...........<ok>

Probably a draw, which won't really help either of us.

can't say which one of us will throw the win away though.

If Llorente is fit then we have a very good chance of winning, as long as Clement doesn't do any of his stupid subs, especially Fer at RB!!...........<laugh>

that sounds like a Bilic special, we've pretty much had everyone playing at RB except a RB

Hard one to predict, this. West Ham may turn it around, who knows? I thought we had some horrible luck the other night and looked well organised against an excellent Spurs side who were very pacey indeed. For that reason I'm going for the Swans, 0-1. But I'd be more confident if I knew Llorente was playing.

Is it true that llorente is out for the rest of the season with some sort of blood disorder.

If we don`t win Saturday we can look forward to Cardiff, Norwich etc next season and who knows, perhaps in a few season`s time we could be playing Newport & wrexham again!
