Sorry but when a ref is as happy as this one to dish out cards it was obvious if you have an equally as good a player on the bench swap them at half time. Howson should have been swapped for Nunez who must feel unlucky to be on the bench when he scored two midweek. Grayson to blame for this one, hope I am not sounding like Clivetime...

 

Players are supposed to have brains though and understand they are on yellow cards.

Well two defeats, one goal for and four against, more yellow and red cards than any other team, what a shambles the start to this season has turned out to be. As I said Josh we ARE NOT a stronger team this year than we were at the end of the last season. Home match on Tuesday then two hard away ones to look forward to without Howson and Gradel, as if the squad wasn't thread bare enough

Yes, it's Grayson's fault Howson got a second yellow for what sounds like nothing .

 

Okay I am a nobody, I was listening on the live stream and I posted at half time Howson needs to come off because he is on a yellow and bring Nunez on.

Now add to that the commentators stating that Howson complaining got the Boro player sent off and Howson was going to be walking a fine line the second half. I hate to say it but I was right, if I as a supporter could see it as a real danger then Grayson could too.

Add to that the momentum was with us and it would have made so much sense Howson off for Nunez. Goal scorer on, with pace, tricky and can run at players, the game was there for the taking and we allowed it to slip because we went down to 9 men.
