The New One would want to be going close to winning. Barring BVD lto, it looks no greater than a handicap.
probably the best ride Sam has ever gave The New One, just hopelessly outclassed by the best 2 mile hurdler of the last decade
You've never seen Meadowcroft Boy stride out first thing in the morning. 11 second furlongs for 2 mile...relentless.
jump boys yay or nay On The Fringe 6/4? just another plodder to me, looking for informed advice before pulling the trigger
I'm not a jump boy and I know you don't do ew but I've got Mendip Express 22/1 and Loch Ba 33/1 to take on the fancied runners
Cant back Pacha Du Polder shirley, one of those ones that you wanted to be on last time at a price, not today when the mugs are fully aware
struggling to find an animal against this On The Fringe I watched the cheltenham race, backed Katie when she was following On The Fringe out the back, both of them given no chance by their jockeys
Jock got caught sleeping I think, thought he was on a cert, Katie thought she was following the only danger, race got away from both of them. Doubt Codd will make the same mistake again here, hes supposed to be the top amateur by a mile iirc
Was just thinking that he usually runs a stinker on his comeback where as he seemed to run a proper race this year. Will surely be closer to the pace either way
cant believe ive backed a 12yo jump plodder at 13/8 in a 30 runner field what on earth possessed me? Codd won me a few quid at Cheltenham though so doesnt owe me anything
My brother is at Aintree and after reading an article on Racing Post website last night on six horses with Aintree form I told him to back the 2 running today e/w - Big Fella Thanks finished 3rd there at 40/1, the other one is Parsnip Pete in the next. Glad I'm not betting, I would have done my dough today
