Bum_Chinned_Crab - In watching City for 35 years and more I have heard many City players say something like that in interviews.
Have you actually listened to our player interviews recently? I'm assuming you haven't, otherwise you wouldn't be arguing the point, the difference between the way the players talk about Silva and Phelan is massive.
He's their goalkeeping coach. He's the Boro equivalent of that bloke who used to follow Nolberto Solano around, wafting his arms at the crowd.
He's obviously a bit and miss and in the past he's had attitude problems, but he's got a lot of talent and I'd trust Silva to get the best out of him.
Thought atmosphere/performance from the team was brilliant, got home last night watched more then was up at 5am work, was I tired no I was still buzzing. Only downside is the injuries and the thought of two difficult away games. UTT
I wouldn't, he's a horribly overrated talent. Is all pace and trickery but has zero end product. Still has a lot of developing to do, but would be too costly for a club our stature for the unreliability of output.
So just trying to keep up they've got Snodgrass, they want Harry and Robbo (and Tymon?) , they also have an offer in for Markovic and they're looking to add Silva. Has the tea lady bought her 'Pearly Queen' coat yet?
watching MotD my missus said, "what up with him (Traore)? is that a bandage?" she then put her glasses on an said "oh, no, it's is hair".
You've made me feel even worst now having missed the game, trust me to miss only the 2nd game at home this season and miss this one.
I did struggle to walk by the pubs last night! I was thinking what state I'd be in if it was Saturday? Can't beat parkers DJ for an hour or so ( let the traffic clear ) then prinny ave! I'll save it for the Watford game!
We looked pretty impressive throughout, Middlesbrough's second goal was a joke decision by the linesman so morally a 4-1 victory, hope for a continuation along these lines but plenty of football still to be played.
