I think whoever is interested in buying Sunderland pal knows Sunderland fans are a asset. Like you say all about opinions but a empty stadium says it all. All this banners stuff is just a wast of time.
I'll agree with the banners thing, waste of time. I think Short knows that you lot want a new owner as he's said he's open to offers, so I don't know what empty stadiums will achieve.
I agree gate money is **** all but a empty stadium looks bad. I don't see the point in going to the stadium getting on the players back, shouting for moyes and short to get out, fighting with each other and so on. Just don't go that's what I would say to arsenal fans to. Villa fans last season wanted the chairman out and they still find a buyer.
A chi Hopefully - but the problem we have with that is that he only gets his debt back if the club sells for a certain amount (over £150m I think I read so I doubt he'll lower the asking price below that. He's invested over £200m in the club in total and we're still bottom of the league! Hope you're right though - but I will still be there next season no matter what
Some people just need an excuse to not go to matches, Marcus, blaming something/someone else when they simply just don't want to go . . . . as is quite obvious in some cases
Does that sentence make sense to you This is from a man that renewed his four season tickets yesterday, by the way
What I took from the article, at least initially, was the frustration with the weak-willed, self-serving, lack of passion and care that the manager and the owner seem to have. Being angry with the ennui that surrounds the club is understandable. Accepting relegation as inevitable is one thing. Even if you accept that you should still be seen to be attempting fight against it. It has to be said that it could argued that very little effort has been seen in that regard. Deliberately setting out to be relegated is something completely different. Not only is it a serious allegation which must surely be against Premier League rules but it is requires quite a stretch of the imagination.
I'd never even pretend that I'm even thinking about not renewing Renewing my season tickets is not even a question for me . . . . it's just something that I've got to do, 'cos of my heart and my first love
I thought that it was and absolute car crash of an article. All the good points undone with blithering bursts of anger and unrealistic straw clutching.
Oh course not. We haven't thrown any matches. We've under prepared for a season. There's no season fixing rules. A club is perfectly entitled to not spend money to stay up, it's nothing remotely close to Match fixing. With us being close to breaking ffp rules the expectation for us whittle will have been expected from the higher power if anything.
It also looks bad when loads of the fans walk out during the match as the media pick up on this all the time in a negative way regardless.
Structural suicide! And man didn't walk on the moon, the CIA killed Kennedy and Elvis works in a chip shop. The heart wrote that article not the head.
