Not really, speaking to a couple of guys who played with him at salisbury, they say he was distinctly average in their side. didn't see him as a saints player for much longer. He's probably got a greater technical insight from working with the coaches, although I still see him making the same errors he did 3/4 years ago.

No not really, The top level in china is about the same as league 2/conference here, where I was on the fringes of playing. I also got coached by an ex American International, not for very long though, he was sacked after 2 months for being ****e and was replaced by an ex villa player. Yes the basics are teh same, but if you walk onto that pitch with the basics you're going to get torn a new one. I never said it was just his fault, it was his fault from when the ball was played into the box, he didn't pick up the man.

Go through my posts, i said against leeds he played well but still made mistakes that against another side would have cost us the game. I just know he isn't good enough to be first choice for us. Others won't accept that, and also others won't accept the fat Seaborne is better even though i'd say he should be 3rd choice. We need a new CB.

Yep that was definitely the Saints scouting team headed by David Burke formerly of Man City, and certainly not all Simon Clifford's work.
How am I back tracking? read my post, I said Martin was at fault once the ball was played into the box, De Ridder before that as he didn't track back. Seaborne stayed tight to his man, look at 48/49 seconds on the video. Martin didn't read teh situation and drop in. End of, that is what happened.
We are playing good passing football but one goal may not be enough, especially if we switch off late as we have done in the past! Time for number two.
