Very hard to pick 3 from that performance but...

    1) Clucas
    2) Markovic
    3) Maguire

Markovic and Clucas definitely. May have been Markovic's best game. Niasse was a threat as well.

Could put them in any order but:

    Markovic
    Clucas
    Harry

Markovic nicks it for me, most talented player on the pitch by far and he was really up for it tonight, not shying from defensive duties either! Clucas was immense also, really like the lad. On tonight's showing, Southgate looks a tool picking Gibson over Harry.. How???? Also special mentions for Evandro and grosicki

What a night, get in city!

Markovic- best showing in a city shirt, clear to me he has the talent to be on a different level if he keeps his head on
Clucas- had it all, not much to say other than he simply ran everything
N'Diaye- tireless in the middle, very good partnership with Clucas

Turbo was dangerous all game, they couldn't live with him.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I have always liked city without huddlestone on the pitch, think we look much better in midfield and don't seem as open. Reminds me of last season when he couldn't get in the team and we had that winning run. Don't get me wrong he's great and incredibly talented just think we look better on the whole without him.

It's all about opinions mate but I would wager as soon as Hudds suspension is up he will be one of the first names on the team sheet.

I don't doubt it mate, I just think we look more dynamic without him but am in no doubt of his talent and ability to control a game

If Hudds had pace he would be at a top three club. That's why Spurs let him go.

Not sure id change it the way we've played tonight and second half vs wet spam.

Unfortunately I think man city away is the perfect game for hudd to be playing in

    Tough one tonight.

Marcovic, only fault he passed to Niasse for the offside goal.
    Niasse
    N'Diaye

Grosicki, Clucas & Abel H were top tonight. Elmo had his best game for a while, but overall defensively we were bad as usual. Going forward we were outstanding & it should have been 5 or 6.

Really tough call, all brilliant, but our captain was the stand out player on the pitch, out of all 22 at any time. Utterly immense. 10 X the player Gibson is, who frankly looked abject and a donkey.

Maguire - pass of the match, if not the season to set Grosicki through who squared for Hernandez to score. Exquisite - plus he scored the 4th which effectively killed off Middlesbrough.

Clucas - I'm a big fan, central midfield is absolutely his best position. He just gets better and better in his 'new' role. Composed in possession, keeps the ball moving, tracks back, tackles - £1.7m? What an absolute bargain. Yet some people still call him clueless - morons. Pound for pound he's one of our most effective signings.

Markovic - Worked really hard for the team, popped up with the first. He was tireless in his work and totally unselfish.

Agree - but Markovic doesn't track back/defend enough. MS will be on his case over that.
