Our first 11 is better than yours and we are bottom so let that sink in. I'll be shocked if Newcastle aren't in bottom 5 next season and my bet is you lot will be calling for fat rafa to get sacked.
Their current squad would see them comfortable embroiled in a relegation battle next season - it's nice and easy to shout their mouths off when they're winning a few games but I've watched that league and it's poor at best - it's not a hard league - all we need to do is keep hold of those who would be of use in that league and strengthen in the right areas - although that's not a given!!
Spot on pal. Newcastle will spend but rafa isn't god in the transfer market. Look at the **** he signed at Liverpool. I watch abit of Brighton and Newcastle and both haven't been all that. It's a poor league if iam honest. All I want is moyes and short out. If both go then more people will get the buz back next season.
I've renewed my season ticket - it's my "day with my lad" so to speak (the only time we really spend me and him time together) I'm an eternal optimist (up until around 3 games ago I thought we might have a chance of staying up!) and will always go regardless of who's in charge - went in the old 3rd division to every home and away game! Also only missed 2 games in the 15 point season and 3 in the 19 pointer. Times have been worse than now! Completely understand those not wanting to go any more though
Hull are giving it a good go and they were much weaker after the summer transfer window. I really don't think there's much between the top few in the championship and bottom few in the prem.
Newcastles squad is capable of surviving cos on paper I would say that they are better than the Bournemouths, Burnleys and Watfords etc when they achieved promotion. Add a few good signings and they may survive comfortably. It'll all depend on whether Ashley decides to put a fly in the ointment.
